PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a treating method for an agrochemical and a treating apparatus of the agrochemical by which detoxication of a material to be treated containing the agrochemical can be efficiently and surely performed. SOLUTION: In the treating method for the agrochemical, a mixture composed of the material to be treated containing the agrochemical and soil subjected to heating treatment under negative pressure is introduced into a first region of a sealable passage, an alkali is introduced in a second region which leads to the first region of the passage and the passage is heated while decompressing the first region via the second region.
