<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology capable of reducing malfunction of a microprocessor. <P>SOLUTION: Peripheral I/Os 30 and 31 operate on the basis of a peripheral clock PCLK outputted from a clock generation part 5. A CPU 1 notifies the clock generation part 5 of a change request to a frequency of the peripheral clock PCLK, and the clock generation part 5 changes a frequency of the peripheral clock PCLK on the basis of the change request.
