PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a head-covering material capable of preventing secondary troubles, such as inflammation, suppuration, depilation, emission of offensive odors, which are inclined to be caused after the head is covered with artificial hair, a wig base, etc., for compensating deficiency of the hair, capable of maintaining a natural hair-like feeling and beautiful appearance for a long period, and having a good feeling when used. SOLUTION: This head-covering material is formed by mixing a mineral fine powder which contains finely-powdered natural radioactive mineral, titanium oxide, and granites as main components into a molding material, and then molding the mixture into a prescribed shape, such as hairy filaments and the wig base.
