METAL POWDER COATED WITH INORGANIC SUPERFINE PARTICLE AND ITS PRODUCTION METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metal powder which can be sintered at a low temperature, does not affect electroconductivity and has a good oxidation resistance and shrinkage resistance. SOLUTION: The metal powder is prepared by coating the surface of the metal powder particle with an inorganic superfine particle. The inorganic superfine particle essentially comprises aluminum oxide, aluminum hydroxide or a complex compound of aluminum oxide and aluminum hydroxide, further contains 2-15 wt.% boron or phosphorus and is in a gel form prior to heating.
