An information recording method and an optical disc apparatus are provided to form a recording pit by projecting laser beam at predetermined recording power in order to record information. An information recording method comprises several steps. An initial power is set up(S302). A data recording is started(S303), and a set time and a reference value of a control factor is collected, an averaging process is performed, and a reference value is stored(S304-S306). A control factor value is collected(S307). In case that the collected control factor value is larger than the reference value, a power instruction value is reduced and a recording power is reduced(S310). In case that the collected control factor value is lower than the reference value, a power instruction value is increased and a recording power is increased(S309). The power control processes are repeated until the data recording process is finished(S312).
