PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the adhesion and deposit of scale to the vicinity of a steam guiding port by eliminating stored water scattering in the vicinity of the port to prevent reduction and stop of a steam generation function. SOLUTION: In this steam generator 10 provided with a cylindrical evaporation vessel 1, a heating source 2 provided on an outer side of the evaporation vessel 1, and the steam guiding port 3 provided in an upper part of the evaporation vessel 1, a scattering suppressing body 5 preventing spray of stored water generated when generating steam from reaching the steam guiding port 3 is provided on an inner side of the evaporation vessel 1.
