PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet material conveying system in a simple structure. SOLUTION: The sheet material conveying system comprises a stop station where an article conveying vehicle stops so as to turn the conveying direction of a carriage formed of a conveyor to the longitudinal direction, a pair of right and left bearing stands 78 that are disposed in the right and left parts in front of the stop station and are formed of the conveyor that bears the right and left bottom parts of a sheet material storage case 20 and of which conveying direction is turned to the longitudinal direction, and a sheet material conveying conveyor 113 that is disposed between the bearing stands 78 and of which conveying direction is turned to the longitudinal direction, and a connecting conveyor 116 that is disposed in front of the sheet material conveying conveyor 113 and of which conveying direction is turned to the longitudinal direction. Thus, the sheet material W can be carried out of the sheet material storage case 20 or carried into the sheet material storage case sufficiently using lifting of the bearing stand 78 and driving of the divided conveyor 113a, so that the conveying of the sheet material W can be performed smoothly in the simple structure. In the article conveying vehicle 70, using the carriage 75 formed of a conveyor and the bearing stand formed of a conveyor, the sheet material storage case 20 can be smoothly given or received between the both.
