PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive accumulating conveyor 6 with a simple structure. SOLUTION: The accumulating conveyor 6 is provided with a transfer means 13 for transferring containers 2 from a first conveyor 11 to a second conveyor 12 and a moving means 14 for moving the transfer means 13 along the both conveyors 11, 12. The moving means 14 is provided with a differential gear mechanism 41, and rotors 46 of the differential gear mechanism 41 are rotated normally and reversely when carrying speed of the both conveyors 11, 12 varies. Linked with the rotors 46, the transfer means 13 is moved along the both conveyors 11, 12, and accumulated amount of the containers 2 on the both conveyors 11, 12 can be adjusted.
