The invention relates to arrangements for representing images of a scene or an object, whereby a plurality of observers can experience a spatial impression or common two-dimensional visual impressions without using an auxiliary device. The invention especially relates to one such arrangement comprising a transflective image reproduction device (1), a planar wavelength filter array which is arranged downstream of the image reproduction device (1) in the viewing direction of the observer, and a light source (3) which is arranged downstream of the wavelength filter array (2) in the viewing direction of the observer. In a first operating mode, light emitted by the light source (3) passes through at least part of the light-permeable filter elements and then through an associated part of the image elements of the image reproduction device (1), towards the observer, such that the scene or object can be perceived by the observer in a three-dimensional manner. In a second operating mode, light hitting the front side of the image reproduction device (1) is used for its transflective properties to obtain the most homogeneous illumination possible, such that the scene or object can be perceived by the observer in an at least partially two-dimensional manner. |
