摘要 <p>In an electronic device having a circuit which outputs a vector sum of two vector signals orthogonal to each other, an offset contained in the vector sum is compensated by an offset compensation device. Characteristic, performance deviation, and various fluctuations are flexibly adapted the offset is compensated stably and accurately. The offset compensation device includes: deviation monitoring means for A/D converting the vector sum, orthogonally demodulating it to generate a vector signal, and monitoring deviation of a DC component superimposed on the vector signal; and adaptive control means for updating a compensation vector according to an adaptive algorithm to minimize the expectation value of the product of an inner product of an increment vector indicating the increment of the deviation in the time series order and the compensation vector obtained in advance, and the latest deviation vector indicating the deviation, and adding the compensation vector to the offset vector to be input to the circuit while being superimposed on the input signal.</p>
