PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify a locating mechanism, improve assembly property, and reduce the number of parts. SOLUTION: A shift lever capable of performing shift operation in a shift direction for automatic gear shift of an automatic transmission and in a shift direction for manual gear shift parallel with the shift direction for automatic gear shift is provided. The locating mechanism causing click feel in the shift operation of the shift lever consists of a springy member and a receive member, and a receive part for automatic gear shift forming an engaging recessed part for automatic gear shift corresponding to a shift position for automatic gear shift and a receive part for manual gear shift forming an engaging recessed part for manual gear shift corresponding to a shift position for manual gear shift are integrally provided in the receive member.
