<p>Linear ethylenic block copolymer comprising one or more blocks (A) capable of being obtained from monomers consisting of 52-99 wt.% of an ethylenic monomer with a lactam cycle of specified formula, and 1-48 wt.% of one or more hydrophilic ionic monomers and one or more blocks (B) obtained from monomers not comprising the ethylenic monomers with a lactam cycle, or comprising a minor part of it.
