A back light device is provided to easily replace a lamp wire by using the lamp wire comprising a first plurality of sockets electrically connected with an electrode of a florescent light lamp and a second plurality of sockets attached to and detached from the first sockets. A back light device includes a lamp wire(43) comprising a florescent light lamp(41), a first plurality of sockets(42a) and a second plurality of sockets(42b). The florescent light lamp supplies light to a liquid crystal panel. Each of the first sockets is formed on an electrode of the florescent light lamp to electrically connect with the electrode. The second sockets are electrically connected with the first plurality of sockets.
