The present invention provides a protein having alpha 1,2-fucosyltransferase activity, a DNA encoding the protein, a recombinant DNA comprising the DNA, a transformant comprising the recombinant DNA, a process for producing the protein having alpha 1,2-fucosyltransferase activity using the transformant, and a process for producing a fucose-containing complex carbohydrate using the transformant.
