<p>Surface regions of components (1) of the vehicle lights, which do not cover functional lamps, are now commonly visible through transparent covers in the bodywork. In novel design, these surface regions include an electroluminescent assembly with flat capacitors (20). The assemblies include rear base electrodes (25), an electroluminescent pigment layer (27) and a transparent covering electrode (26). Plastic construction is adopted, on which the foregoing structures are produced as coatings and/or formed multilayer foils. An independent claim is included for the method of manufacture.</p> |
