<p>A security lock, e.g. for a threaded fastener (6), shaft, axle and similar components, has an intermediate element (1) clamped under the head of the fastener with rotational freedom. An outer groove (9) on the intermediate element is gripped by a locking catch (2) operated by a cylinder lock (4) fitted into one side of a security housing (3) which is placed over the fastener, with the cylinder parallel to one side of the fastener. The lock housing rotates about the fastener and does not provide an useful grips for unauthorized removal of the lock.</p> |
