Toner binder resins with low odor and excellent charging stability as toners, comprising styrene-acrylic copolymers or mixtures thereof, wherein the total content of volatile components is no greater than 1,500 ppm, the content of volatile components with benzene rings is no greater than 1,400 ppm, and the content of volatile components with benzene rings and a boiling point of below 200 DEG C is no greater than 500 ppm.
