摘要 Use of polymorphisms of eotaxin genes for predicting and diagnosing asthma is provided, thereby verifying that the occurrence of asthma is related to EOT2+1265A>G polymorphism, and sensitivity for high IgE formation is related to EOT1+123A1a>Thr polymorphism, so that the occurrence of asthma can be predicted by detecting relation between the occurrence of asthma and eotaxin 2 polymorphism and relation between the sensitivity for high IgE formation and eotaxin 1 polymorphism. The polymorphisms of eotaxin genes for predicting and diagnosing asthma are provided, the polymorphisms include EOT2+1265A>G or EOT1+123A1a>Thr polymorphism; and the EOT1+123A1a>Thr polymorphism is dose-dependently related to sensitivity for serum total IgE formation in a patient suffering from asthma. A method for predicting and diagnosing asthma comprises measuring polymorphisms of eotaxin genes.
