A guardrail is provided to minimize impact of a vehicle by absorbing impact by a complex material panel and an inner wire, to prevent the vehicle from going over the guardrail, to prevent the vehicle from bouncing off the guardrail by absorbing repulsive force, and to prevent a secondary collision with another vehicle. A guardrail(10) comprises a long complex material panel(12) of a waveform section or multiple bent section made of a complex material. At least one inner wire(14) with greater strength, stronger toughness, and a more excellent elongation percentage than the complex material panel is installed in the complex material panel in the longitudinal direction of the complex material panel to absorb impact secondarily after the complex material panel is broken. Optical cables are continuously arranged to the complex material panel in the longitudinal direction.
