Lid unit comprises a lid (1) made from an aluminum alloy having a wall thickness of 1-2 mm with wood pins (3a, 3b, 3c) on one side and a recess. A plate-like plastic part (2) with a connector protrudes through the recess and is connected to the lid via the wood pins. An Independent claim is also included for a process for the production of a lid unit.
