Rolling device and rolling method

摘要

Roll device with at least two backing rolls, two extra and two working rolls where the backing roll has a drive and the extra rolls are stowed (sic) horizontally on using the device. The device has a drive for the extra rolls and a control for controlling the two drives, so that a predetermined horizontal stowage (sic) of the extra rolls relative to the backing rolls is obtained during operation of the roll device. An independent claim is included for a rolling process in which the two backing rolls are driven so that the two extra rolls are stowed horizontally.
