<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize the voice coding transmission system providing a very small delay. SOLUTION: In the voice coder 1, error correction code addition circuits 106a, 106b apply individually error correction coding to a linear prediction parameter in the unit of frames generated by a parameter generating section 1a and a sound source parameter in the unit of sub frames which are 1/4 divisions of one frame, multiplexers 107a, 107b multiplex respectively and individually each parameter and its error correction code to generate individual multiplexed parameter signals, a transmission control circuit 114 sends the signals in a prescribed order. Every time a reception control circuit 215 finishes reception of one individual multiplexed parameter signal in the voice decoder 2, demultiplexers 208a, 208b separate and extract the parameters and the error correction codes and error correction circuits 209a, 209b apply error check/ correction processing to the parameters and the resulting signal is sequentially fed to a voice reproduction section 2b.</p> |
