<p>The internal combustion engine fuel supply uses a pump (24) in an inner chamber (22) in the fuel tank (18). The pump draws fuel through an inlet filter (26) and passes it through a non-return valve (28) to the fuel feed line (30). A bleed from the fuel feed line passes to a valve (34) with a spring-loaded (58) piston (52) which can be pushed down to uncover a connection to the fuel return line (42). Leakage fuel from the injectors flows through the fuel return line to pumps (48a,b) in the main tank. These pump fuel into the inner chamber.</p> |
