A keypad-extensible mobile terminal is provided to conveniently and rapidly execute keypad input operation by enabling input operation to be executed in a keypad-extended state, when a floating keypad formation part is slid, so that repeated keypad manipulation for information input can be minimized. A fixed keypad formation part(107) is installed on the upper surface of a main body(101). A plurality of keypads(106) to input information are installed at the fixed keypad formation part(107). A floating keypad formation part(109), installed at the upper side of the fixed keypad formation part(107), makes sliding motion in the lengthened direction, and comprises a plurality of keypads(108) so as to be extended. At both sides of the main body(101), guide slits(111) are formed in the lengthened direction. At both inner sides of the main body(101), guide ribs are formed so as to be combined with the guide slits(111) and to make sliding motion in the lengthened direction. |
