A glove box of a vehicle is provided to absorb collision energy in transmitting impact to the front of the vehicle at a collision, and to restrict the glove box from being opened by forming notches in a side and a lower part of an inner box of the glove box. An energy absorbing part(30) is formed by specifically notching a side(21) or a lower part of an inner box(20) of a glove box for a vehicle. Concentric notches(31) are arranged around a shaft in the energy absorbing part to open and close the inner box of the glove box. Radial notches(32) are arranged around the shaft to open and close the inner box of the glove box. The inner box of the glove box is broken in transmitting impact energy to the glove box at a head-on collision of the vehicle, and the glove box is restricted from being opened by absorbing collision energy.
