A method for manufacturing and attaching an electrical contact for a small size control member in a clock is provided to improve productivity by manufacturing and assembling a plurality of control members at a time. An intermediate base plate(200) is made of a conductive metal plate. The intermediate base plate(200) comprises a supporting structure(25) and a plurality of electrical contact strips(21,22,23,24). The supporting structure(25) is connected to a plurality of attaching points(21d,22d,23d,24d). Each of the electrical contact strips(21,22,23,24) forms a moving part of an electrical contact, together bases(21a,22a,23a,24a) and flexible protrusions(21b,22b,23b,24b) connected to the bases(21a,22a,23a,24a). The moving part is controlled by a controller. The intermediate base plate(200) is located at a first supporting unit insulated from the electrical contact strips(21,22,23,24). A second supporting unit is fixed on the first supporting unit so that the electrical base strips(21,22,23,24) are fixed between the first and second supporting units through the bases(21a,22a,23a,24a). |
