The braking and shock absorbing device for a drawer comprises a piston (2) attached to the drawer or carcass which slides in a cylinder (1) attached to the other component. An O-ring (3) is mounted in a peripheral groove (7) in the piston. This has a section which narrows towards the front of the piston, so that it pushes the ring against the cylinder walls when the drawer is pushed in. |
