<p>The invention relates to the special metallurgy, in particular to the method of vacuum-plasma treatment of melt of non-ferrous alloys. A method for the vacuum-plasma treatment of the melt of non-ferrous alloys involves blow-through thereof with immersed plasma jet, transporting the mentioned melt through the column of gas-lift with gas heated in plasmatron, vacuumization of the melt in the reaction chamber, vacuum hardening the melt being performed with treated melt. After vacuumization, the melt in the reaction chamber is dispersed in the form of jets and drops in vacuum and continuously supplied for pouring from upper layers thereof which are at a distance m from the melt column, being maintained with residual pressure in the reaction chamber above the level of treated alloy melt. The invention provides melt dehydration, reducing the content of non-metallic inclusions and increase of mechanical characteristics of ingots being obtained from the treated melt</p> |
