摘要 To obtain a composition for carbide precipitation strengthened titanium alloy having higher tensile strength by adding carbon and carbide formation elements to titanium, and a method for heat treating the titanium alloy such that content of carbon contained in the alloy is lowered, and carbide is precipitated finely and uniformly to maintain improved tensile strength and secure elongation. The composition for carbide precipitation strengthened titanium alloy comprises a titanium alloy obtained by adding a substitutional element Al and one or more carbide formation elements selected from the group consisting of V, Mo, Cr, Cu, Si, Ni, Mn, W, Fe, Ta and Nb to Ti in a certain ratio; and 0.1 to 2 wt.% of an interstitial element C, wherein the carbide precipitation strengthened titanium alloy composition comprises 89.63 wt.% of Ti, 5 wt.% of V, 4 wt.% of Mo, 1 wt.% of Al, and 0.37 wt.% of C. The carbide precipitation strengthened heat treatment method of the titanium alloy comprises a step of performing finish forging(42) by heating the carbide precipitation strengthened titanium alloy at a carbide re-penetration temperature(41); a step of performing solution heat treatment(43) on a structure of the titanium alloy deformed by the finish forging at the carbide re-penetration temperature again; and a step of performing solution strengthening, carbide precipitation strengthening and dispersion strengthening on the alloy structure by re-penetrating the carbide into a titanium matrix, rapidly cooling the titanium matrix, thereby transforming the alloy structure, precipitating the carbide in the alloy structure, recomposing elements and re-penetrating the carbide into the alloy structure.
