A system for self-diagnosing a vehicle using a communication network and a vehicle diagnosis server is provided to make the server transmit diagnosis information to a user after diagnosis by transmitting a signal detected from a sensor placed in a checking point to the server, and enhance convenience for maintaining/repairing the vehicle by making the server transmit the diagnosis information to a repair shop. The vehicle(100) is equipped with an ECU(Electronic Control Unit)(110) receiving/storing/managing vehicle state information detected from the sensors(111-114) placed to main checking points, an interface(120) receiving the vehicle state information from the ECU and converting a protocol, and a communication terminal(130) receiving the vehicle state information from the interface. The vehicle diagnosis server(300) is equipped with a database storing information for diagnosing the vehicle, a diagnosis processor diagnosing the vehicle based on the database, a controller, and a transceiver receiving the vehicle state information and transmitting the vehicle diagnosis information. The communication network(200) includes a base station.
