A distributed intelligent home robot control system is provided to embody a large-capacity processing task through an inexpensive robot and to continuously implement a high-class service without replacing the hardware of a robot in upgrading a service. A distributed intelligent home robot control system consists of a remote server(100), a home gateway(200), a home robot(300), and home network equipments(400). The remote server(100) controls the home robot(300) and the home network equipments(400) in a remote place. The remote server(100) creates fault codes for the fault items of each home network equipment and manages them as a data file. Also the remote server(100) creates SMS messages for the fault codes, manages them as a data file, and provides the data file to the home robot(300). The home gateway(200) downloads and stores the data file for the fault codes from the remote server(100). The home gateway(200), in case that fault information is received from a home network equipment(400), obtains an associated fault code from the stored fault code data file and transmits the obtained fault code to the home robot(300). The home robot(300), receiving the fault code from the home gateway(200), searches the stored fault code SMS message data file and finds out an associated SMS message.
