A cold air-circulating system of a kimchi refrigerator is provided, which system generates a vortex within the kimchi refrigerator when a predetermined condition is occurred, so that the temperature difference between the upper and lower parts of a kimchi storage chamber can be reduced or inhibited. The cold air-circulating system of a kimchi refrigerator comprises a vortex generating device which is located in the inner space of a chest door(40) and generates the vortex in order to reduce the temperature difference between the upper and lower parts of an upper kimchi storage chamber; a first temperature sensor(22) which is located in the upper part of the outside of the upper storage chamber to detect the temperature of the upper part of the storage chamber; a second temperature sensor(24) which is located under the first temperature sensor(22) to detect the temperature of the inner side of the upper storage chamber; a door opening/closing sensor which is located within a hinge portion of the chest door; and a control unit which treats signals from the first and second temperature sensors(22, 24), and door opening/closing sensor.
