A mobile terminal is provided to sense a degree of affection and interest of a user and express corresponding emotion. A camera(CAM) receives an image signal obtained by photographing a subject. A microphone(MIC) receives a voice signal. A touch sensor(11) senses physical contact of a user. A temperature sensor(12) senses a body temperature according to user's contact. An acceleration sensor(13) senses a change of movement of a mobile terminal. A communication unit(14) transmits/receives a communication signal including voice and data through a wired/wireless network. A bell sound output unit(15) includes a bell sound reproducing unit, a bell sound memory and a D/A converter. A voice output unit(16) includes a voice combining unit, a voice memory and a D/A converter. A display unit(17) displays characters or graphic. A motor unit(18) includes a motor and a motor driving unit for driving the motor. A light emitting unit(19) includes a backlight and a backlight driving unit for driving the backlight. A vibration unit(20) includes a vibration motor and a vibration motor driving unit for driving the vibration motor. A controller(10) performs various processing by executing a control program and data stored in a memory.
