An online game system applying a lottery method using cyber money and an offering method thereof are provided to satisfy customer's desire by selling a virtual lottery ticket of a high winning probability to the customer and enable the customer to satisfy the desire through virtual space by using the cyber money offered as a prize of the virtual lottery ticket. A terminal(1) receives a virtual space/avatar service through the Internet(5). A main server(2) certifies/manages a user connected through the terminal, sells an image according to an item purchase request, and sets the virtual space of the user with the item according to an event opening request received from the user. The main server sells the lottery ticket according to price selected from the user after certification of an external settlement server(4) by outputting lottery ticket information according to a lottery ticket purchase request and gives the cyber money corresponding to the drawn price by drawing the lottery ticket. The settlement server confirms personal information of the user and settles the lottery ticket sale price of the main server if a certification request is received from the main server.
