A torch-rotating type welding machine is provided to facilitate carrying work and to automatically weld a tube body and a flange or the tube body and a plate member exactly and uniformly while a welding torch rotates at uniform speed by a motor. A torch-rotating type welding machine comprises a body(1), a rotating part(2), a support rod-lifting and supporting part(3), a clamp(4), sensing parts(5), and a welding device-fixing part(6). The body comprises a jaw-operating air cylinder(1) inducing appearing and disappearing of jaws; a support rod-operating air cylinder(12) inducing ascent and descent support rods(31); and various switches controlling the jaw-operating air cylinder, the support rod-operating air cylinder, and a small deceleration motor(13). The rotating part comprises a pinion(21) connected to the small deceleration motor; a disk gear(23) having a rotating plate(22) fixed to the bottom; and a hollow fixed shaft(24) assembled with the disk gear and the rotating plate by bearings(25,25') to induce stable rotation of the disk gear and the rotating plate. The support rod-lifting and supporting part comprises a flange connected to the lower end of a rod(12') of the support rod-operating air cylinder by an elongate pin(32) to be lifted by the support rod-operating air cylinder, and the support rods assembled to the flange at uniform angles and stably seated on the surface of an article to be welded. The clamp is installed to the lower part of the hollow fixing shaft and the clamp executes clamping in a state of being inserted in a tube body(8'). The sensing parts are installed to the bottom of one side of the body and the bottom of one side of the rotating part to sense rotation of the rotating part. The welding device-fixing part fixes a welding device to the other side of the bottom of the rotating part.
