The device (1) has an emptying part (2) with a maximum width slightly smaller than the maximum width of the tube. The emptying part can be moved in the tube length direction in order to push the tube contents towards and out of the tube mouth. The device includes an adaptor cap (6, 7) which can fitted over the end (8) of the emptying part in order to temporarily seal it.
