A mobile terminal for remotely setting an environment of an additional function is provided to provide a specific service according to characteristics of each user by allowing a user management server to control a profile related to an operation of each terminal by an environment setting agent program mounted in each terminal. A communication unit(900) transmits/receives a data signal through a wireless network. An operating unit(500) receives a user operation command. A memory(300) stores a profile including an environment setting parameter. An environment setting unit(110) updates an environment setting parameter stored in the memory(300) according to a message received through the communication unit(900). An additional function providing unit(170) controls processing of an additional function according to a set value of the profile stored in the memory(300) and stores inputted additional function data in the memory(300).
