MAINTENANCE METHOD FOR INK-JET PRINTER

A maintenance method for an ink jet printer is provided to prevent a nozzle surface of a printer head part from being re-contaminated by ink having a high viscosity remaining in a rear side of the printer head part. A maintenance method for an ink jet printer includes a step of wiping a nozzle surface of a printer head part by using a wiper(S100). The number of ejection of ink droplet is counted and compared with a first reference value(S110). If the number of ejection of ink droplet is larger than the first reference value, the printer head part is capped(S120). Then, a rear surface of the printer head part is washed while the printer head part is being capped(S130). The nozzle part of the printer head is prevented from being re-contaminated by ink during the cleaning process.
