A waveguide structure is provided to prevent an antenna from being damaged by a spark, by maintaining a predetermined spacing between the antenna and an inner wall of a microwave induction space. An electrodeless lighting system comprises a case(101), a high voltage generator, a magnetron, a waveguide(104), a bulb, a resonator(106), a reflector(107), and a bulb rotating motor. The case has an accommodation space formed therein. The high voltage generator is mounted in the accommodation space of the case so as to boost an AC voltage into a high voltage. The magnetron is spaced apart from the high voltage generator such that the magnetron receives the high voltage generated from the high voltage generator and generates microwave. The waveguide is communicated to the output portion of the magnetron such that the waveguide guides the microwave generated from the magnetron. The bulb is protruded outward from the case and encapsulated with a light emitting material so as to emit light by a plasma discharge performed by the microwave guided by the waveguide. The resonator is arranged to cover the bulb, cut off a leakage of microwave, and permit the emitted light to exit. The reflector is arranged to cover the bulb and the resonator, and reflect light emitted from the bulb. The bulb rotating motor is disposed in the case, and rotates the bulb such that the bulb is not partially heated. The waveguide has a microwave induction space(110) for inducing microwave output from an antenna(103a) of the magnetron to the resonator. The microwave induction space has an end with a wall formed in parallel with the antenna so as to prevent an electric spark.
