A wideband frequency generator is provided to facilitate a frequency control process and to reduce phase noises by mixing two frequencies using one oscillator and comparing a main frequency with the mixed frequency using a frequency multiplier. A frequency multiplier(120) triples the frequency outputted from a reference frequency generator(110). A power divider(140) divides the signal filtered by the frequency multiplier into two powers and outputs the result via respective output terminals. A frequency adjuster(160) adjusts the frequency of a signal outputted from the power divider via a first path. A first mixer(200) mixes the frequency outputted from the power divider via a second path. The first mixer mixes the frequency from the second path with the frequency of the frequency adjuster. A half divider(220) divides the frequency signal from the first mixer into two parts. A multiplier(240) multiplies the signal from the half divider and compares the result with the frequency of a main generator. The multiplier multiplies the compared signal up to a value close to that of the main generator. A second mixer(250) outputs the difference between the frequencies from the multiplier with that of the main generator.
