An electric-field irradiated by a different electric-field communication device reaches an electric-field sensor (ES) via a main electrode (ERB) on a receiving side. The electric- field sensor (ES) outputs, based on a variation of the received electric- field, an electric signal. The electric field received by the electric- field sensor (ES) then reaches a feedback electrode (ERG) on the receiving side, and then enters a feedback path to the electric-field communication device that has radiated the electric field. In this case, disposing the electric-field sensor (ES) between the main electrode (ERB) and feedback electrode (ERG) on the receiving side can improve the electric-field density, at the position where the electric-field sensor (ES) is disposed, when the electric field has reached. As a result, the sensitivity of an electric-field communication device (TRX) for capturing a variation in the electric field can be improved.
