<p>To provide a diesel fuel composition containing a metal additive stabilized relative to phase separation and haziness formation. A diesel fuel composition comprises a diesel fuel; a metal catalyst compound dispersed or solubilized in a colloid phase for regeneration of diesel particulate trap; and 10 to 1,000 ppm of an oil soluble or oil dispersing organic compound having lipophilic hydrocarbyl chain to which two or more adjacent polar head functional groups are directly attached, wherein the metal catalyst compound comprises an inorganic or organic compound or one or more complexes of cerium, iron, magnesium, strontium, sodium, manganese and platinum, or a mixture of the inorganic or organic compound or the one or more complexes, one or more of the adjacent polar head groups of the organic compound are carboxylic acid or carboxylate group, and residual adjacent polar head groups are selected from carboxylic acid, carboxylate, ester and amide groups.</p> |
