SOLID STATE ELECTROLYTIC CAPACITOR

A solid electrolytic capacitor is provided to enhance coupling strength between lead frames and a housing by coating lead frames and condensing a charging portion with a resin. A solid electrolytic capacitor includes a condenser element(2), lead frames(9,90) at positive and negative sides, and a housing(70). The condenser element includes a positive member(20) with a negative layer formed on an outer surface thereof. The lead frames are applied at a bottom portion of the condenser element. The housing coats the lead frames and the condenser element except for the bottom portion of the lead frames. The housing covers at least a portion of an external end portion of the lead frames. A charging portion(92) is formed on the external end portion of the lead frames. A resin is condensed in the charging portion. The resin is used to form the housing.
