PURPOSE: An optical pickup device of an ODD(Optical Disk Drive) is provided to locate a center of gravity of the optical pickup device in a position near to a main guide to which a dynamic force is transmitted, thereby suppressing a shaking or a hooking caused by a moment power. CONSTITUTION: An optical pickup device(300) differently forms a position near to a main guide(43a) from a position near to a supplementary guide(43b) with regards to body thickness, and moves a center of gravity of a body in an optical pickup unit(30). The optical pickup unit(30) makes a part connected to the main guide(43a) thicker than a part connected to the supplementary guide(43b), to move a substantial center of gravity to the position near to the main guide(43a).
