Air permeability measuring device for building e.g. house, has calculating unit to calculate permeability of air in parts of building based on electrical intensity consumed by fan, fan speed and pressure drop inside building parts

The device has a suction fan physical characteristic measuring unit (15) with an ammeter to measure electrical intensity consumed by a DC suction fan (10) and a tachometer to measure rotation speed of the fan. A differential manometer (16) measures pressure drop inside parts (3, 4) of a building with respect to exterior of the building. A calculating unit calculates permeability of air in the parts based on the measurements. An independent claim is also included for a method of measuring air permeability of a part of a building e.g. house, office and school.
