PURPOSE: A structure of a switch using a damping function and an operating method thereof are provided to prevent generation of dark current by controlling operating states of circuits. CONSTITUTION: A switch operating part(20) is used for operating a switch. A switch body(22) includes first and second movable contact parts. The switch body and the switch operating part are formed with one body. First and second fixing contact parts(24a,24b) come in contact with first and second movable contact parts according to an operation of the switch operating part. A first spring(30a) is positioned between the first fixing contact part and the first movable contact part to generate repulsive force. A second spring(30b) is positioned between the second fixing contact part and the second movable contact part to generate the repulsive force. A damping part(29) is positioned between the first and the second springs to generate a damping effect.
