PURPOSE: An electromagnetic clutch assembly with improved torque output is provided to easily select the specific increase of torque according to improved clamping, feedback of a main or a second friction clutch pack, and a specific friction coefficient of materials forming a flat washer or an annulus. CONSTITUTION: An electromagnetic clutch assembly(70) with improved torque output is composed of an input member(82) and an output member arranged coaxially; a first circular member(140) having plural cam acting surfaces; a second circular member(146) formed with plural similar cam acting surfaces, installed adjacently to the first circular member, and splined to the output member to rotate together with the first circular member; plural load transmitting balls(144) arranged on the cam acting surfaces; a friction washer interposed between the first circular member and the input member; a first clutch pack(130) having a first group of first clutch plates(132) splined to the first circular member and a second group of first clutch plates(134) splined and fitted to the input member; an electromagnet coil(184) combined with the first clutch pack; and a second clutch pack(170) having a first group of second clutch plates(172) splined to the input member and a second group of second clutch plates(176) fitted and splined to the output member.
