PURPOSE: A brake caliper is provided to cut off vibration transmitted to a brake pedal and a steering wheel and to improve riding comfort by absorbing and buffering vibration through oil in operating a brake. CONSTITUTION: A brake caliper(10) is composed of a cylinder(12) installed in a caliper body(11) to flow oil through a passage(11a); a piston(15) received and mounted slidably in the cylinder to move a pad member(20) to a disc rotor(30) in applying hydraulic pressure; a ring member(50) interposed between the piston and the cylinder to supply restoring force of the piston; a varying unit disposed in the passage to change an inner volume of the passage according to the flow of fluid inserted into or discharged out from the cylinder; and a vibration damping unit arranged in the caliper body to absorb vibration of the fluid generated in inserting and discharging the fluid into/out of the cylinder.
