PURPOSE: A system and a method for offering a personal bookstore service on the Internet are provided to enable a bookstore operator to sell a book or operate a bookstore after registering books and book reviews, and offer a result reward to the bookstore operator based on sales. CONSTITUTION: A personal bookstore register(121) offers the URL(Uniform Resource Locator) for enabling the personal bookstore operator to register the personal bookstore for selling the registered books through the wired/wireless communication network after registering the books and enabling users to connect to the personal bookstore. A personal bookstore manager(122) offers the reward according to the sales after inquiring the sales of each registered bookstore for a predetermined period. A mini bookstore manager(123) manages a mini bookstore for selling one registered book in a way to recommend the book to the users through the network.
