PURPOSE: A hose of a vacuum cleaner is provided to form uniform adhering/fixing portions by trapping an adhesive between the inside of a hook-shaped expansion unit and the outside of a front set wall body and to secure exactly flexible extension and contraction of the hose by keeping a non-contact portion constant. CONSTITUTION: A hook-shaped expansion unit(3) is formed at one end of an object material(2) and projections(4) are integrally arranged at the other side at regular intervals. The projection having a reduced H-shaped section is formed by securing an upper opened space and a lower space by front and rear set wall bodies(4a,4b) and a gap holding body(4c) for connecting the front and rear set wall bodies. An electric wire(5) is embedded in the lower space. The upper ends of the front and rear set wall bodies are contacted closely to the inner upper end of the hook-shaped expansion unit to form a uniform adhering/fixing portion.
